For discontinuous decoating of hangers in a Power&Free conveyor.
The online decoating takes place is on a side line which is located parallel to the main conveyor. The parts to be decoated are not usually decoated on every run through.
To decoat the hangers there is no need to remove them from the conveyor or replace them manually.
The filter unit
Is comprised of aluminium system profiles and is tightly encased in aluminium. The housing is easily accessible by its doors for maintenance and assembly work.
The following units are installed in the filter unit:
- Multi-level air filtering unit
- Extraction fan
The control cabinet
Contains all electrical components, the PLC and the eddy-current generator.
The process unit
Customised, automatic decoater unit for the eddy-current decoater.
It is equipped with:
- Hanger fixing and measuring equipment
- Lifting station with 4 decoaters
- Rotary brushes
- Paint cone collector
The components
Decoater
Move vertically from the bottom to the top and back to a linear unit. The temperature is set by the temperature setting on the system.
Brush block
Up to 8 separately driven brushes move vertical from the bottom to the top and back again; their speed can be infinitely varied by a frequency converter.
Hanger fixing and measuring equipment
These are fixed and measured to decoat the hangers.
After cleaning, the hanger is released and passed into the conveyor line.
Filtering unit
The vapours and small paint particles are cleaned by a multi-level air filter and fed out to the room air.
